5 Possible Free Agents for the Oakland Raiders

The lack of weapons on the outside has been hard to watch this season and Oakland must improve if they hope to get an accurate evaluation on if Carr is the guy. The receiving group is deep in this upcoming draft, so I’m sure Oakland will get one or two then.

However, wide receiver is one of the more difficult positions to adjust to as a rookie so it would be nice for them to get someone in free agency too. As it stands now, the Raiders do not have many weapons they can count on at this position, so a full overhaul may be required this offseason.

Devin Funchess is a physical receiver who can make contested catches and is still very young at only 24 years old. As the Raiders groom whoever they draft to be their number one receiver, Funchess can be a useful safety net for Carr and a solid second option.

He dealt with a few injuries this season so the cost for him may not be as significant as it would have appeared at the beginning of the season.
