The Oakland Raiders lost their tenth game on Sunday, as the Kansas City Chiefs came into the Oakland Coliseum and won 40-33. Here are 5 takeaways.
Not many people gave the Oakland Raiders a chance this past Sunday, in fact, they came into the game as their biggest home underdog in 20 years. However, the Raiders showed a lot of fight against their AFC West rival Kansas City Chiefs, and really turned some heads with their performance.
Of course, Oakland is not playing for a playoff spot this season, as they were mathematically eliminated this past Sunday. But, they can throw a wrinkle in the who playoff picture in the AFC, as they still take on the Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, and Pittsburgh Steelers, who they play on Sunday.
This is a team in full rebuild mode, but I was more impressed with what they did on the field this Sunday, than what they did not. The rookies stepped up, Derek Carr played exceptional, and had it not been for some turnovers, they could have won the game.
