Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders: 5 takeaways from Week 13
By Brad Weiss
No quit in this team
For all the talk of this team tanking in 2018, the Raiders showed no signs of that on Sunday, as they continued to battle back against the Kansas City Chiefs. At one point, the Raiders were down by 16 points, and many felt that it would be beginning of the blowout inside the Oakland Coliseum.
Well, that was not the case, as Derek Carr continued to lead this offense into the end zone. By the time the fourth quarter rolled around, Oakland was only down ten, and actually pulled within three, before losing by the final score of 40-33.
For the Raiders, this game saw them go up against the best team in the division and hang with them for four quarters. You could not have said that about any other game this season that they have lost, and as you watched this young team play on Sunday, you had to be excited about what the future may hold for this franchise.
