The Oakland Raiders take on the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday, and here are five realistic expectations for what you can expect from them in Week 14.

The Oakland Raiders enter Week 14 sitting at 2-10, after losing to division rival Kansas City this past weekend inside the Oakland Coliseum. While the Raiders came out on the wrong side of a 40-33 final score, they did show signs that they are not giving up this season, which speaks loudly about head coach Jon Gruden and his staff.

In fact, you could argue that despite giving up 40 points, the defense had it’s best game of the year, as the secondary did a nice job holding back Tyreek Hill. While the run defense is still an issue, this defense is very young, and should only continue to get better over the last four games of the season.

Derek Carr had his best game of the season as well on Sunday, and is steadily improving in Gruden’s complicated offense. If he plays the way he did against the Chiefs, there is absolutely no reason why this franchise should consider making a change at the quarterback position moving forward.
