Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes has another opportunity to build his case for MVP against the stingy Baltimore defense this Sunday. The Ravens are the stingiest defenses when it comes to points allowed. No matter what year it is, the Ravens always manage to have a stout defense. On the other hand, the Kansas City Chiefs are one of the top scoring offenses. It’s another battle between a top offense and top defense.

The last one that occurred was just last week between the New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Cowboys.

The elite defense of the Cowboys won them their match up, but what about the Baltimore Ravens?  This is the match up to key in on. Will the Chiefs offense be able to bring down the stone defense? Or will the Ravens defense derail the high scoring Chiefs offense? I’m going to place my bets on the Chiefs being able to surpass the Ravens defense.

It’ll be tough early on, but a second half run will see the Chiefs soaring past the Ravens. It just doesn’t behoove anyone to bet against Patrick Mahomes.

The guy is a complete baller. Even his worst game of the season is better than plenty of other starting quarterbacks best games. Let’s not forget that the Ravens are rolling out Lamar Jackson at quarterback. They have been winning with him at the helm, but the offense hasn’t been scoring a lot of points.

If a team wants to defeat the Chiefs, then they have to outscore them. That’s simply something the Ravens can’t do with Jackson. Despite the Chiefs being a poor defense, it should be easy for them to deal with him. Just force him to make throws and the turnovers will start to show.
