There are some big games with some serious playoff ramifications involving the AFC West this week, and we take a look at all of them.

The AFC West is starting to establish themselves as a strong division once again. Just like in 2016, this division has three teams in the hunt for the playoffs in December. Well it’s really only one team because the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles are assuredly going to get in.

It’s just a matter on if the Denver Broncos can make a push, which at the rate they’re going is entirely possible. Unfortunately for Raider nation, the Oakland Raiders are the odd team, which isn’t shocking considering all the movement that has transpired within the organization.

In week 14, the AFC West catches a break between divisional match ups. This time the teams in the division will take their scheduling against the AFC North and NFC West. The AFC West is a very intriguing race to watch. The Chargers (9-3) are only a game behind the Chiefs (10-2). Neither team can afford a slip or they’ll lose grip of the AFC West title.

This race is going to come down to the wire. The same for the Broncos if they want to sneak into the playoffs. As for the Raiders, it’s all about building momentum for next season. Believe it or not, their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers this week is not a sure loss as some are saying. Let’s take a look at this weeks slate of games for the teams in the AFC West.
