Highlights
This game was close for all 60 minutes and had three lead changes in the fourth quarter alone. And despite the Raiders playing for nothing, and the Steelers desperately needed a win, it was the Raiders that made the biggest plays when it mattered most. And once again special teams troubles and lack of attention to detail fail Mike Tomlin’s Steelers.
Here are the best and most important plays in the game.
Beautiful pitch and catch by Derek Carr and Jared Cook on the Raiders’ opening drive.
The Raiders got on the board first with a 4-yard touchdown run by running back Doug Martin.

Great concentration by Smith-Schuster in the back on the end zone for a touchdown at the end of the half.
One of Carr’s best throws this season as he threads the needle down the seam to tight end Derek Carrier.
Oakland takes the lead on the Lee Smith touchdown catch, his first in three years.
The Steelers go back on top after the great drive orchestrated by Ben Roethlisberger.
Carr finds tight end Derek Carrier for what would be the game-winning touchdown with 21 seconds left.
Shades of Boise State back in 2007, the Steelers execute the hook and ladder play.
After struggling most of the day, Pittsburgh kicker Chris Boswell slips on the field goal attempt that could have sent the game to overtime.
