Three Stars

1. Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders

Carr made some of the best throws of his career in this game. Fitting the ball in tight windows multiple times and showing the toughness and resilience we remember from his 2016 campaign. He withstood a hectic pocket for most of the game and made the clutch plays when the Raiders needed it. Finishing the game with 322 passing yards and 2 touchdowns.

2. Juju Smith-Schuster

With Antonio Brown having a quiet game, Smith-Schuster stepped up yet again catching 8 passes for 130 yards. Several of his catches could have qualified for best of the day, but his first touchdown in the back of the end zone takes the prize. He continues to prove he is one of the emerging receivers in the league.

3. Gareon Conley

For most of the game, the Raiders defense played good, and Conley took on the challenge of guarding Antonio Brown who is the best receiver in football. He indeed wasn’t perfect, but Brown only record 5 catches for 35 yards. Conley made a massive play on the ball at the end of the third quarter which resulted in an interception and had a nice pass break up against Smith-Schuster. He is gaining confidence week by week and looks like the potential number corner Oakland thought he’d be when they drafted him.

Honorable Mention: Jared Cook
