Shaun Herock

Despite Gruden wielding the power in Oakland the Raiders still need to temporarily fill the GM position until the end of the season, and Shaun Herock is the man with the interim General Manager title.

It’s also been reported that Herock will likely get a shot at interviewing for the permanent job when the time comes. Herock joined the team in 2012 and worked with Mckenzie in Green Bay. He’s also the son of Ken Herock, who previously served as an advisor to Mark Davis.

In Gruden’s press conference after Mckenzie’s firing, he reiterated Herock’s importance in maintaining the interim role and the value he’ll have as the season nears its end, “I think Shaun Herock will be a big part of this…we’re going to lean on him…I expect him to be a big part of this organization going forward, honestly.”
