The Oakland Raiders picked up their best win of the season against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Here’s five takeaways from Sunday’s victory.

The Oakland Raiders secured just their third win of the season come Sunday afternoon, but the victory was by far the Silver and Black’s best of the year, and it came at the expense of their historic rival Pittsburgh Steelers. The defense again kept them in the game and the offense came through as the Raiders successfully played spoiler.

Though the win had repercussions that will likely be felt come April, Raiders fans will gladly take this win as a silver lining in a rather forgettable season. After finding themselves at their lowest point a few weeks ago in Santa Clara, these Raiders seem to finally be having fun again and the effects are being noticed on the field.

In their upset win over the Steelers we observed continued improved play on the defensive side of the ball, grit from the offense in clutch time, and a performance from number four under center that echoed the year 2016.

Here’s five takeaways from the Raiders’ 24-21 win over the Steelers.
