Every organization needs building blocks if they are going to take the next step, and here are five of the most valuable Oakland Raiders heading into 2019.

The Oakland Raiders have struggled to a 3-10 record to start the 2018 NFL season, but they are playing better football as of late, and have some cornerstone players who will be crucial for this franchise moving forward.

The 2018 Oakland Raiders could not be any more different than the 2016 team that went to its first playoffs in 14 years. The 2016 Raiders had the 6th best rushing attack, the 2nd most turnovers forced on defense, and Derek Carr was in the conversation for league MVP.

Today, at 3-10 the Oakland Raiders are in the rebuilding stage. Although the current roster isn’t playing well as a unit consistently, Oakland does have some talented players that can be fundamental building blocks for the organization moving forward.
