Gareon Conley

Gareon Conley has been the most impressive Raiders player this season, by far. Over the past couple of weeks, the secondary has shut down some of the better wideouts in the NFL, including Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers (3 catches, 35 yards), Tyreek Hill of the Kansas City Chiefs (1 catch), Larry Fitzgerald of the Arizona Cardinals (2 catches), and T.Y. Hilton of the Indianapolis Colts (1 catch).

Conley has been a big part of why Oakland has been able to do this.

When compared to other corners in the NFL this season, Gareon Conley is tied for giving up the least amount of catches at 22. That puts him around 1.70 catches per game. He also has two interceptions on the season and his overall QBR while being targeted is 74.3, which is superb.

The Oakland Raiders must have Conley in there long-term plans, he has shown he can play a full season without being hurt and that he can be a top tier CB. After your quarterback and offensive line, the most crucial position in the NFL today is cornerback. Conley is really young and should only improve with game experience.
