Looking ahead

With a win on Sunday, the Raiders would notch only their fourth victory of the season, so it is clear that this has not been the kind of season any Raiders fans would have wanted. Still, Derek Carr is playing at an elite level once again, and the defense has shown signs of life over the past couple of weeks.

In the 2019 NFL Draft, Oakland holds three first round picks, and in 2020, they hold two. They have a real opportunity to turn this roster upside down over the next two seasons, and the plan has to be in place that the team is going to be a contender in the AFC as they enter Las Vegas.

It remains to be seen where the team will play in 2019, but one thing is for sure, this team is improving each week. The Silver and Black have some good young talent, a lot of draft capital, and a bunch of cap space, so better times are head for this franchise.
