The run defense could struggle big time

One of the bigger issues with the defense this season has been stopping the run, and they have a tall task ahead of them on Sunday. The Broncos have an electric running back in Phillip Lindsay, who went undrafted after a standout career at the University of Colorado, and was recently named to the Pro Bowl.

Maurice Hurst was listed as questionable on the Raiders final injury report, and could the game for the second time in the last three games. Hurst is crucial to the Raiders success on defense, and without him in the lineup, Lindsay could be in for a big day.

Of course, Justin Ellis did return from injury a couple of weeks back, and is still working himself into game shape. This Raiders defense is bad against the run even with everyone on the field, so being a big short in personnel could spell trouble for the Silver and Black in Week 16.
