The Oakland Raiders will take on the Denver Broncos on Monday night, and could be without some big names on the defensive side of the ball.

Last week the Oakland Raiders faced multiple injuries on their offense which made it difficult to sustain drives. The result was a Derek Carr that was consistently under pressure, and an offense that could muster only 16 points against a Cincinnati Bengals team that had no won in five straight games.

However, going into this week, it is the defensive side of the ball that has been hit with injuries, specifically three young starters who hope to be building blocks for the Raiders future. Going up against a Denver Broncos offense that has one of the best young running backs in the league in Phillip Lindsay, it could be a long day for the Raiders against the run.

Rookie Maurice Hurst, second-year corner Gareon Conley, and Daryl Worley have all been listed as questionable for Monday night against the Denver Broncos. All three men play key roles for this Raiders defense, which has looked much better in recent weeks.

Hurst has been dealing with an ankle injury for a few weeks now, and even though he played last week, he was unable to practice at all this week.

Conley suffered a concussion against the Bengals and did not return to the game. He has been limited in practice all week and must pass concussion protocol if he wants to play on Monday. Since becoming a full-time starter, Conley has become one of the best cornerbacks in the division, and is certain to be a building block for this team moving forward.

And Worley who has been on the injury report a lot this season continues to deal with shoulder problems. He was only able to practice on Saturday, and it was limited participation. Though despite his obvious discomfort, he has yet to miss a game since coming back from his suspension in week 5.
