Oakland, one last time

No matter the difference in records or the discrepancy in terms of talent on the rosters, knowing that this game could quite possibly be the last game played in Oakland was bound to give the Raiders some extra motivation heading into Monday night. They didn’t care about the draft or draft positioning, they wanted to give the fans a much deserved win should this really be it for playing in Oakland.

The fans were gifted with a win and over an AFC West rival no less, but the appreciation didn’t stop with the final whistle. After the game concluded, Derek Carr and Jon Gruden were amongst the players showing love and appreciation to the fans in the stands and the Black Hole in particular. Carr literally took a victory lap around the stadium, attempting to show gratitude to as many fans as he could.
