With the fourth pick

It was great to see the Raiders play with passion and add another victory to the win column, yet undoubtedly it had effects come the NFL Draft in April. The win was number for the Raiders on the season, but due to strength of schedule the Raiders now currently hold the number four overall pick in 2019’s draft.

The Raiders sit behind the Cardinals, 49ers, and Jets (in that order) and looking at the schedule in the final week of the regular season, it’s hard to see either of those teams notching a win against their Week 17 opponent. Oakland heads to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs in their regular season finale.

The win against the Broncos was great in what could be their last possible game played in Oakland, but the Raiders desperately need talent to turn this thing around in the larger sense. They’ve now dropped from second to fourth, but here’s hoping that Jon Gruden and the newly anointed GM hit the mark should they remain sitting at fourth in the draft.
