Raiders will cover the spread

The Raiders are playing much better football as of late, and they head into their matchup with the Chiefs as winners of two of their last three games. In fact, those two games were pretty impressive performances, as they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos inside the Oakland Coliseum.

While the odds are stacked against Oakland to win on Sunday, the spread in the game is way too high for an AFC West matchup like this one. The Raiders are 13.5 point underdogs against their division rival, and while the Chiefs are one of the best teams in the AFC, it is not like they are playing like world beaters right now.

Derek Carr is going to make enough plays to keep the Raiders in the game, and the Chiefs offense has not looked the same since Kareem Hunt was suspended. This is going to be a one-score game, and the Raiders should be able to cover the spread on Sunday.
