The defense will struggle

During the 2018 NFL season, the Raiders defense has been nothing to write home about, as they have been trounced at times. They have struggled to get off the field on third downs, and have let guys like Jeff Driskel beat them on occasion. However,  they played well the last time out, and will look to continue that success on Sunday.

Unfortunately, they will be playing against a much better defense on Sunday, as the Chiefs have been putting up points in bunches this season. Patrick Mahomes is a legitimate MVP candidate in his first season as the starting quarterback, and they should be able to find space to make plays against this Raiders defense in Week 17.

Nobody has been able to stop this Chiefs offense for four quarters this season, and the Raiders are going to struggle against them as well on Sunday. Guys like Gareon Conley and Maurice Hurst are huge to the Raiders success on that side of the ball, and if they cannot go, it could be a long day for the defense inside Arrowhead.
