Trey Flowers

I’ve mentioned Trey Flowers before and will continue to mention him as someone the Raiders should this offseason. He is a tremendous player that goes way under the radar because he is in New England, but the Raiders should be willing to pay a good price for his services.

Another young player who will be 26 at the start of the 2019 season, Flowers has been getting better and better with each season. He is not dominant in terms of sack numbers, but if you watch him, he is a disruptive force and far beyond anything the Raiders have on their roster. He can also provide ability in the run game which is something the Raiders have been awful at from the defensive end position this season.

We all know Bill Belichick has not been one to pay big money for a lot of players and there is a good chance Flowers could fall victim to this. His market is projected around 5yrs $77 million which is not cheap, but as I said earlier with Frank Clark, this team needs to do everything they can to address this pass rush. Much like they did with the offensive line a few years back.
