Rodney Hudson was the best player on the Oakland Raiders this season, and Pro Football Focus showed him some love on Tuesday, naming him an All-Pro.

When it comes to the 2018 Oakland Raiders football team, there were a handful of players who really stood out this season, despite the fact that the team finished 4-12. One of those players was Rodney Hudson, who, at 30-years old, continues to show that he is one of the best offensive linemen in football.

Hudson just does not allow sacks, or pressure, and on a Raiders offensive line that was decimated with injuries, and had two rookies starting at the tackle positions, he excelled once again. He has been an absolute beast since coming over to Oakland from the Kansas City Chiefs, and needs to be a part of the rebuild moving forward.

On New Years Day, Pro Football Focus released their first, and second-team All-Pro selections, and there was Hudson, on the second-team. Hudson was by far the best player on the Raiders this season, and despite another dominant performance by him in the trenches, he was not named a Pro Bowler.

For the season, PFF graded Hudson out at 76.5 overall, with a pass block grade of 90.6. The overall grade was second only to tight end Lee Smith, while the pass block grade was No. 1 overall.

In fact, him not being named a Pro Bowler was one of the bigger snubs of the voting, as he is widely regarded as one of the best in the game. Hudson is only signed with the Raiders through next season, so you have to think new general manager Mike Mayock is going to find a way to keep him in the Silver and Black for the long-term.

Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles was named to the first-team, and while he is a fantastic player, he does not have the kind of impact that Hudson does for the Raiders. In a season of plenty of disappointments, Hudson just kept his head down and dominated whoever the opposition put in front of him, and was well-deserving of finally getting some love.
