Josh Allen, Edge, Kentucky

One player who is starting to gain steam is Josh Allen from Kentucky, who is fresh off an incredible performance against the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Wildcats’ bowl game win. Allen is a guy who can play both outside linebacker, and defensive end, two positions of serious need on this current Raiders roster.

Allen has blazing speed, and is one of the better athletes this draft class has to offer. He is a guy that is going to be a menace on the defensive side of the ball at the next level, and the Raiders need someone who can come in and dominate in year one.

With the fourth overall pick, Allen could absolutely be gone by the time the Raiders pick, but if he is available, they have to take a serious look at him. He was able to do big things at Kentucky, and would be a potential Rookie of the Year candidate in Paul Guenther’s defense.
