Let him Walk: Leon Hall

Leon Hall saw his season end early due to a back injury, and that could be the last we see of him wearing the Silver and Black. A former player for defensive coordinator Paul Guenther in Cincinnati, Hall was brought in to provide veteran leadership to the cornerback group, but he should not be brought back in 2019.

Hall had his best days back in Cincinnati, and with the Raiders, he started the season opener against Los Angeles, but made only four starts the entire season. His season ended after Week 11, and while he is a steady veteran presence, this position group is looking to get younger next season.

With guys like Daryl Worley, Gareon Conley, and Nick Nelson expected to be the top guys on the depth chart next season, as well as whoever they draft early in round one, Hall is going to be expendable. He has had a pretty decent NFL career, and may latch on with another team, but you have to be worried about back injuries with guys his age.
