Re-sign: Daryl Worley

One player whose contract is expiring that the team needs to bring back is Daryl Worley, a good-looking, young cornerback who really improved in 2018. Worley came to the Raiders organization with some baggage, but was able to shed that, and thanked head coach Jon Gruden for giving him a second life in the NFL.

When it comes to talent, Worley is a good one, and at only 24-years old, should be a part of this team’s plans moving forward. The Raiders have lacked good, young talent at the cornerback position for years, and in guys like Worley, and Gareon Conley, they could be set for the foreseeable future.

Worley is going to give the Raiders the opportunity to bring him back, as he was really thankful that Gruden saw past his indiscretions and brought him in. He has a chance to be a very solid player at the NFL level, and with so much experience at a young age, it would be wise to lock him up to at least a three-year deal.
