player. 28. . Offensive Tackle. North Carolina A&T. Brandon Parker. 65

Brandon Parker was the second consecutive FCS player taken by the Raiders back in April of 2018, as the team selected the offensive tackle from North Carolina A&T. An absolute beast during his college days, Parker was drafted to provide depth at the tackle position, but ended up finding himself in a starting role early on.

Donald Penn injured his ankle early in the year, and the team was forced to roll with Parker as the starting left tackle, giving the Raiders two starting rookie tackles. Parker struggled mightily at times, which is understood, but he will have to improve his technique heading into year two.

The right tackle job is Parker’s to lose heading into 2019, but he is going to have to look a lot better this offseason to retain the starting job. He was bullied far too often in 2018, and while that is expected for a rookie, it cannot happen again.
