Daniel Carlson
The Raiders went through a bunch of different kickers before landing on Daniel Carlson, who was released by the Minnesota Vikings just months after drafting him. With the Raiders, Carlson became one of the more reliable kickers in the league, connecting on 16-of-17 field goals, while making all of his extra points.
Oakland would be wise to get Carlson under contract, as he is young, and showed he has what it takes to make kicks in this league. He was definitely worth the flier, and now that the Raiders see what he can do, they should make him the long-term answer at the position.
Grade: A
Jason Cabinda
Jason Cabinda came to the Raiders as an undrafted rookie free agent, and actually was able to work his way into some playing time late in the year. He was waived by the team on September 1, but brought back on the practice squad, and was activated in October.
A product of Penn State, Cabinda appeared in ten games for the Raiders, making a handful of starts. He played pretty well at middle linebacker as a rookie, and is a guy who will get a long look at making the team in 2019.
Grade: C
Azeem Victor
Azeem Victor was the sixth round pick of the Raiders in 2018, but did not make the team out of camp. He bounced around on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks practice squads, but is currently a free agent.
