The Oakland Raiders first selection will come at No. 4 overall, and luckily for them, there is a ton of talent in this draft to address their biggest need. During the 2018 NFL season, the Raiders were historically bad at getting after the quarterback, and you can be sure that is where they are going to focus their first of three first round picks in April.

While Nick Bosa from Ohio State gets a lot of the pub as being the best edge rusher in the 2019 NFL Draft, I actually like Josh Allen as the best player in the class. Allen is a guy who could fill  two roles on the Raiders defense, as he is an outstanding outside linebacker, and one of the best edge rushers in the draft.

Allen ended his Kentucky career on a high note, racking up  three sacks against a very good Penn State offensive line in the bowl game. He is a guy who is going to be a Pro Bowl player at the next level, and you can only imagine all of the ways he could wreck havoc in Paul Guenther’s 4-3 defense in 2019 and beyond.
