The Raiders went into the 2018 NFL season with Amari Cooper and Jordy Nelson atop their depth chart, and the expectation was they would both have solid seasons in the Silver and Black. Well, Nelson failed to make his presence felt for much of the first half of the season, and Cooper was shipped to Dallas during the trade deadline.

That move left Nelson as the top wideout of the group, followed by guys like Brandon LaFell, Keon Hatcher, Marcell Ateman, and Seth Roberts. Not so much a collection of talent, and in 2019, the Raiders need to make sure they do everything they can to bring in some solid players for Derek Carr in the passing game.

One guy who I really think can be a big time playmaker at the NFL level is JJ Arcega-Whiteside from Stanford, who is big, and fast. Arcega-Whiteside is entering the NFL Draft early, and after a standout career with the Cardinal, he should be a guy who makes an immediate impact at the NFL level. Not only does he have the size this roster needs, but he can go over the middle as well, and the Raiders need as much talent at wideout as they can get.
