The Raiders have a lot of questions when it comes to the running back spot in 2019, as Marshawn Lynch, Doug Martin, and Jalen Richard are all free agents. Lynch and Martin are up  there in age, and Richard is coming off a year that saw him become one of the better pass-catching running backs in the game, and may want to test the free agency waters.

If they all bolt, the depth chart will be left with guys like DeAndre Washington, and Chris Warren, who led the NFL in rushing during the preseason but was on injured reserve all year. The Raiders may want to use a fourth round draft pick at a pretty deep running back position in this draft class, and Elijah Holyfield from Georgia could be right there waiting.

Holyfield played a huge role in the Bulldogs offense this past season, sharing carried with DeAndre Swift, and racking up over 1,000 yards. He is a punishing runner, and has good speed, and should be a productive back at the NFL level. He does not have much wear on the tires, as he only was featured one season, and runs with the kind of authority that Raiders fans love.
