KeeSean Johnson – Wide Receiver, Fresno State

If you read about who balled out this past week during the East/West Shrine practices, you’ll likely see the name KeeSean Johnson show up a lot.

Johnson rewrote the record books at Fresno State finishing his career as the all-time leader in receptions (275) and receiving yards (3463) passing the likes of Davante Adams.

Johnson wins with great feet that allow him to set up defenders and create separation. And though he is not a burner, he has plenty enough speed to win vertically. The key is that he is able to use his quickness to beat press coverage which is always something I like in receivers. From reading about Shrine practices, every quarterback seemed to like him which could be a sign that he’s adaptable regardless of scheme. Johnson could be a reliable chain mover for Carr and work in the intermediate parts of the field.

And in a deep wide receiver class, there is a chance Johnson could fall and the Raiders could land an absolute steal.
