Here are three players for Oakland Raiders fans to keep an eye on during Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Patriots and Rams.

The Raiders are far from making a Super Bowl appearance, that should be painfully obvious. However, that does not mean that this game is not of any interest to Raiders fans. Besides rooting heavily against the New England Patriots, (which we all should be doing), we can keep an eye on several players that are set to be Free Agents in the offseason.

Clearly the Patriots and Rams are going to have to shed some of their current players. Players that proved to be pivotal this season will command more money, resulting in players leaving in search of money that these teams simply won’t have. Although this fact may be somewhat exaggerated, there is a strong chance that the three players on this list at least explore free agency.

The Raiders will have over $70 million in cap space and plenty of holes to fill. Obviously some of those holes will be plugged in the draft, but the Raiders desperately need to add talent via free agency, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Coincidentally, the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams have some talented defensive players who are set to hit the open market. There is a lot of time between now and March 14th when free agency opens. But here are three names for Raiders fans to keep an eye on during the Super Bowl.

Let’s start with one of the Rams talented, young linebackers.
