Rashan Gary, Michigan

As it is officially mock draft season, you can find a mock anywhere, and we they all give a different feel for what the Raiders 2019 NFL Draft will look like. In recent days, we have been seeing a lot of Rashan Gary going to the Oakland Raiders at No. 4, and he would be a pleasant addition to this defense for sure.

During his time at Michigan, Gary was used all over the Wolverines defensive line, and played well with current Raiders defensive tackle Maurice Hurst. During their time together, the Wolverines had one of the more devastating defensive lines in the Big Ten, and it would be a nice fit to bring him aboard this April.

Gary has the prototypical size you look for in a dominant edge rusher, standing at 6-foot-5, and weighing in at 280 pounds. He has the strength to manhandle offensive linemen, and during his time in Ann Arbor, showed a knack for not only getting after the quarterback, but being able to make plays behind the backfield to disrupt the run game.
