Oakland Raiders: 7-Round mock draft after Super Bowl LIII
By Brad Weiss
With their first of three first round picks in April, the Raiders have to zero in on a guy who can make plays happen in the backfield. Last season, Oakland was historically bad at getting after the quarterback, racking up only 13 sacks as a team, which was by far the lowest total in the NFL.
Heading into the 2019 NFL Draft, the class is loaded with talent on the edge, and one guy who could be available at No. 4 is Josh Allen from Kentucky. There is so much to like about this kid, as he plays with incredible anger, and passion, and has the talent to be a double-digit sack guy at the NFL level.
If Allen can put on some weight, he would be a perfect edge rusher to compliment Arden Key in 2019 and beyond. Key showed some flashes during his rookie year, but is very raw, and with so much young talent on the interior of the Raiders defensive line, a guy like Allen could be the final piece to this unit being much improved this season.
