Center

Since the Raiders signed Rodney Hudson in 2015, he has been one of the best interior linemen in all of football.  And he is easily the best pass blocking center only allowing a pressure ever 151 snaps, and the next closest is Brandon Linder at 60.

So it is safe to say no one will be taking Hudson’s spot anytime soon. Even if Oakland is looking for a backup, it’s probably best to look into free agency to do such. Taking mid to late round offensive linemen is usually a low reward proposition.

Hudson’s contract is up after the 2019 NFL season, so the Raiders need to start getting their ducks in a row in terms of re-signing him. He is crucial to this team’s success moving forward, and since putting on the Silver and Black, there has been nobody better at doing what he does.
