Re-sign Rodney Hudson

Ever since coming over to the Oakland Raiders from the Kansas City Chiefs prior to the 2015 NFL season, center Rodney Hudson has been one of the best in the game. In fact, the mere thought of him not being a Pro Bowler this season really gets under my skin, as you cannot tell me there is a better player at his position in the AFC.

After the 2019 NFL season, Hudson is slated to be a free agent, and the Raiders have to make sure that he is not going anywhere. He is the anchor of this offensive line, and if this team is going to take the next step forward, Hudson has to be the man in the middle getting the ball to Derek Carr.

With two rookie offensive tackles this past season, and both guards getting injured at times, Hudson stood tall as the leader of this offensive line once again, proving his worth. There are not many players who are as important to this team as Hudson is, so locking him up is crucial if the Raiders want to be considered a Super Bowl contender.
