Odell Bekcham Jr.

Jay Glazer came out this week and said that he believes the Giants will trade Odell Beckham Jr and if I’m the Raiders I’d be at the front of the line to bid.

Beckham is a top-10 skill player in the league, and anytime he touches the ball he has a chance to score. He could fit in nicely to the Gruden offense as someone who can run the short and intermediate routes and provide tremendous after the catch ability.

The Raiders have little to nothing at the receiver position, and Beckham quickly gives Derek Carr a No. 1 option. Also, if they do still draft another receiver, Beckham takes enormous pressure off whoever that is, and opens up opportunities for them to work against number No. 2 or 3 corners. This gives Carr more weapons and favorable matchups.

His contract is not great, but elite players like OBJ don’t come around every offseason. And regardless, Beckham is likely to be far better of a player than the first round pick you’d have to give up.
