Delaware. Nasir Adderley. 35. player. 28. . Safety

Like Gareon Conley, safety Karl Joseph was a former first rounder who really took a step in the right direction last season. Joseph will be expected to lead the Raiders position group moving forward, but he needs depth around him, especially with the rest of the group pending free agency this offseason.

Oakland should definitely try to bring Erik Harris back, but they need to also draft someone who can step in and be a starter alongside Joseph. One player who really turned heads during the Senior Bowl was Nasir Adderley, who some have mocked to be going in the first round, but could certainly be available early in round two.

The safety position is not well-represented in this draft class, but Adderley is a guy who really jumps off the page. If the Raiders can get him, and add him to a group that includes Harris and Joseph, then the safety position should be much-improved in 2019, making the secondary loaded with solid, young talent.
