2019 NFL Draft: Oakland Raiders 7-round mock draft
By Brad Weiss
There was a time that Bryce Love was going to be considered a crowned jewel of this draft class, but injuries really limited him this past season. When healthy, he can be as explosive as any back in this draft class, but he will have to prove that he is ready for the pro game with a solid pre-draft season.
The Raiders have decisions to make when it comes to their running back group, including whether to retain their free agents. Love is a guy who could come in and be a big part of the offense in year one, as he is not afraid to run between the tackles, and is one of the more elusive backs in college football.
Alize Mack is a player to keep an eye on, because the Raiders may need reinforcements at the tight end position if Jared Cook decides to leave via free agency. Mack had some issues with discipline during his time at Notre Dame, but when he is on the field, some feel he is the most complete tight end in this draft class.
Mack was invited to the NFL scouting combine, so the Raiders will get a long look at him heading into the draft. He was once considered one of the better tight ends in the country prior to heading to South Bend, and with his height and hands, he could end up being an absolute steal with the Raiders final draft pick this April.
