Marshawn Lynch, Running Back

It has been a solid two-year run for Marshawn Lynch in Oakland, as the local kid came back to play for his hometown team. Lynch, who showed flashes of his old self at times since coming out of retirement, saw his season end due to injury in 2018, and it could be his last suiting up in the NFL.

Of course, the Raiders would love him back, but it will be up to him to decide whether or not he kicks the tires on another NFL season. The Raiders running back group has a lot of question marks heading into next season, as Lynch, Doug Martin, and Jalen Richard are all free agents, and second-year back Chris Warren will likely get a long look this offseason.

The Raiders may end up playing in Oakland for a final time in 2019, and that could sway Lynch to come back for one more season. However, as it stands now, I do not see him returning to the NFL in 2019, leaving the Raiders with a hole at the top of their depth chart at the running back position heading into the offseason.
