5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers need to protect Jameis Winston, who is one of the most sacked players in the NFL. Plug in Jonah Williams, who has been protecting some very good quarterbacks since his High School Days when he was tasked with protecting Washington Huskies quarterback Jake Browning at Folsom High School. Jonah Williams came into Alabama his freshman year and started dominating right away. The Buccaneers will be getting a solid-fluid tackle with Williams.

6. New York Giants Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State

It’s time to move on from Eli Manning. The New York Giants have one of the best wide receivers, one of the best running backs, and a very good run blocking offensive line. The only thing they really lack is a quarterback who can play within the system and move the ball downfield. Fill in Dwayne Haskins, and the Giants have their future Quarterback.

7. Jacksonville Jaguars Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida

With the best offensive tackle taken with the 5th pick by the Buccaneers, the Jaguars will select Jawaan Taylor, the most aggressive and punishing offensive tackle in the draft class. The Jaguars are a complete team, minus a quarterback, and although some will say they should draft a quarterback, they will be better off getting a quarterback through free agency. Tom Coughlin could look at Eli Manning, Nick Foles, or Teddy Bridgewater.

8. Detroit Lions Rashan Gary, DE, Michigan

With Ezekiel Ansah likely headed out of town, the Lions need to upgrade their pass rush. Last year, the Detroit Lions hit with their second-round pick, selecting the best defensive linemen from the 2018 NFL Draft, Alabama’s De’Shawn Hand. This year, they will add Rashan Gary, who will replace Ansah, and although Gary is a bit raw, Lions head coach Matt Patricia is great at developing players.
