29. Kansas City Chiefs Johnathan Abram, S, Mississippi State

Eric Berry has been hurt for two seasons now, and there is a good chance he doesn’t play again. Johnathan Abram is a thumper, and will fill in for Eric Berry perfectly. The Chiefs were special on offense last season, but their defense certainly was not.

30. Green Bay Packers (from NO) A.J. Brown, WR, Ole Miss

With a new head coach in town, the Packers go out and get quarterback Aaron Rodgers a weapon late in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Rodgers had an icy relationship with former head coach Mike McCarthy, so the organization is going to go out of their way to make sure the one with  new head coach Matt LaFleur works.

31. Los Angeles Rams Noah Fant, TE, Iowa

The Los Angeles Rams made it all the way to the Super Bowl this past season, although they failed to show up on offense against the New England Patriots. One area of need on their offense is at the tight end position, and Noah Fant may be too good to fall out of the first round.

32. New England Patriots Jeffery Simmons, DT, Ole Miss

Trey Flowers, Malcolm Brown and Danny Shelton are all free agents, and with a huge need at DT, the defending champions will take the second-best defensive tackle with the last pick in the first round. Sure, Jeffery Simmons tore his ACL this past week, but he has the potential to be an elite player in the NFL, and the Patriots can afford to sit him and let him get to 100 percent before putting him back on the field.
