Oakland Raiders: Pre-Combine 7-Round 2019 mock draft
By Brad Weiss

28. . Safety. Delaware. Nasir Adderley. 35. player
The Raiders got good play out of former first rounder Karl Joseph from the safety position last season, as he seems to be turning the corner in his career. While reports this past week stated the team is not completely sold on him, that does not change the fact that he was a much more productive player than he has been in the past.
Still, he is the only safety on the roster who is not entering free agency, so the Raiders have to address this position early in the 2019 NFL Draft. While the hope is that at least Erik Harris will be back in 2019, bringing in a player like Nasir Adderley with the team’s early second round pick makes a lot of sense.
Adderley is a guy who can help a secondary in so many ways, and he actually played a lot of cornerback during his time at Delaware. He has great hands, collecting nine interceptions over the past two seasons, and not only is he adept at making plays on the ball, but also has the talent to be a very good centerfielder as well.
