No big surprise here, as the Raiders need an edge rusher, and guys like Nick Bosa and Josh Allen will likely be off the board at No. 4. If the Raiders want, they could move back with this pick, trading it away to the Jacksonville Jaguars or New York Giants, or even crazier, trade up into the top-3.

If they do sit at No. 4, Ferrell is a pretty outstanding consolation prize, and a guy who fits Paul Guenther’s scheme very well. He showed during his time at Clemson that he can be a dominant figure on the edge, and after getting to the quarterback only 13 times in 2018, this is the biggest area of need for the Raiders this offseason.

Oakland brought in Arden Key with their third round pick last year, and he showed during his rookie season that he could end up being a very good player. This is a position group that will have to be revamped this offseason, but starting with both Key and Ferrell would give the organization two very good, very young edge rushers moving forward.
