The on-field activities at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine will kick off on Friday morning, and here are five prospects to keep an eye on in each position group.
The time has come for the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine, and the on-field action will kick off later today. The Oakland Raiders have a lot of holes to fill on their roster heading into this offseason, and this will be the one of the chances they get to take a look at the best players available in the 2019 NFL Draft.
On Friday, the first wave of players will begin their workouts, as the offensive linemen, running backs, and specialists will take the field inside Lucas Oil Stadium. The Raiders will definitely be targeting these position groups during the NFL Draft, as they started two rookie tackles in 2018, and they have three running backs heading towards free agency.
When it comes to the specialists, the Raiders have found their kicker in Daniel Carlson, though they will have to re-sign him this offseason. During the 2018 NFL Draft, they used a fifth-round pick on Florida punter Johnny Townsend, and the hope is that he can be much better in year two than he was as a rookie.
