There are some big name free agents out there in 2019, but while they have been productive in the past, they also could be fool’s gold for the Oakland Raiders.

The Oakland Raiders have a very important offseason ahead of them, as they look to rebound off of a 4-12 2019 season. It was only a few weeks ago that Super Bowl 53 was played, and now we are just a couple of weeks away from free agency starting up.

It’s an exciting period because of all the transactions that transpire throughout the league. So many hypothetical signings have been laid out by media and fans alike.

It just feels thrilling to finally see movement between the teams and the free agents. Typically, every fan would love for their team to sign a big name or two.

Some players warrent the hype, while others are being propped up as something they are not. There are players in free agency who can be fool’s gold to teams. Their name is attractive, but just isn’t worth the money or a roster spot for a team.

With that said here are the three free agents that are fool’s gold that the Oakland Raiders should stay away from.
