Andre Dillard – Offensive Tackle, Washington State

The offensive line class overall is not the best, but there are a few high-level players, and after this week Andre Dillard surely cemented himself as day 1 pick and possibly top 15. Dillard showed tremendous athleticism over the weekend with a high broad jump, 20-yard shuttle, and 3-cone.

All of this while being 6’5 315lbs, which proves he has the explosiveness and lateral quickness to be a starting left tackle in the league. In the drills, Dillard was smooth and displayed what draft analyst already believed when it comes to his excellent technique, and it is safe to say he is the best pass blocking tackle in the draft.

With other offensive tackle prospects facing concerns about their measurables and athleticism to play the position, Dillard left no questions about himself. There are so many teams in need of better pass protection that Dillard can help almost any team in the league right now the second he steps on the field.
