2. Carr gets his weapon

During the 2018 NFL season, the Raiders traded away Amari Cooper at the trade deadline, sending the young wideout to the Dallas Cowboys for a first round pick. At the time, the Raiders were left with Jordy Nelson, and very little else at the wide receiver position, but that certainly changed in a big way on Saturday night.

In Antonio Brown, Carr gets that elite weapon that he has not had, and the one that many expected Cooper would become in the Silver and Black. While Cooper was a super-talented player, he had issues with the drops, and still has yet to become close to the kind of player that AB is right now.

For Derek Carr, this is the weapon he has been waiting for, as you know Brown is going to show up every single Sunday. There will be no games where he only catches two, or three passes. Tight end Jared Cook has led this team in receiving yards the last two seasons, but all of that is about to change with the addition of Brown.
