Oakland Raiders: Jon Feliciano reportedly headed to Buffalo

The Oakland Raiders lost a key part of their offensive line on Tuesday, as it was reported that Jon Feliciano would be leaving for the Buffalo Bills.

The Oakland Raiders had been adding a ton of talent this offseason, trading for Antonio Brown, and signing guys like Trent Brown and Lamarcus Joyner via free agency. On Tuesday, word came down that they would be losing one of their own, as Jon Feliciano was reported to be headed to the Buffalo Bills as per Chris Mortenson of ESPN.

Feliciano was a fifth round pick of the Raiders back in 2015, and has spent his entire NFL career with the team. In four years with the team, Feliciano was mostly used as a backup, but he got some good playing time last season in place of Kelechi Osemele.

In 2018, Feliciano started four games for the injured Osemele, who will now be joined by him in the AFC East, as KO was traded to the New York Jets on Sunday. It has been a whirlwind couple of days for Raider Nation, who are still waiting to see if Le’Veon Bell is going to join his former teammate in Pittsburgh later on today.

The Raiders signed Denzelle Good for depth this past week, and have a bunch of early picks to add more bodies via the NFL Draft this April. Feliciano was looking for an opportunity to start, and in Buffalo, he will certainly get that.

Despite the fact that he was mostly a reserve during his time in Oakland, Mongo played a big role for this offensive line. We wish him all the best in Buffalo, and will certainly miss the passion he always brought to the table during his time in the Silver and Black.
