Michigan. Chase Winovich. 106. player. 28. . Edge

As I stated earlier, the edge rusher spot is a serious weakness for the Raiders right now, and while that may change as we get closer to the draft, it may have to be addressed twice in April. Josh Allen would be an excellent addition to this team early in round one, and early in round four, they could pick up a guy who could go anywhere from the late second round, to the fourth.

For the second time in this mock draft, Oakland heads to Ann Arbor, where they select another solid young edge rusher in Chase Winovich. During his time with the Wolverines, Winovich became an absolute leader on the field, and epitomizes the Gruden Grinder term.

Adding both Allen and Winovich to a group that already has a solid player in Arden Key, suddenly makes the position an exciting one in 2019. There are guys like Ezekiel Ansah and Justin Houston still available via free agency, and everything changes if they get one of them, but for now, two of the first five picks going to the edge rusher spot makes a lot of sense for the Silver and Black.
