6. New York Giants Kyler Murray, QB, Oklahoma

Eli Manning needs to be replaced, and the Giants know it as they reportedly offered a second round pick for the Arizona Cardinals signal caller, Josh Rosen. The Giants did have a chance to get Sam Darnold in the 2018 NFL Draft, but they didn’t pull the trigger. They won’t make the same mistake this year. The Giants will draft Kyler Murray, who is the best quarterback coming out of college. Alternatively, Murray could sit for one year behind Eli Manning so he can learn the system.

7. Jacksonville Jaguars Jawaan Taylor, OT, Florida

The Jaguars signed Nick Foles to a massive deal, which means now they must protect him. With the No. 7 overall pick in this draft, the Jags will do just that, as Taylor to the Jags makes sense. Jawaan Taylor is the most aggressive and punishing offensive tackle in the draft class. Some even say he is better than Jonah Williams, although I don’t agree. Taylor should also help boost that offensive rushing attack.

8. Detroit Lions Devin White, ILB, LSU

The Lions second-year coach Matt Patricia is doing a lot to solidify that defense, as he signed Trey Flowers, traded for Damon Harrison last season, signed Justin Coleman, a young corner from Seattle, and during the draft last year, they also choose the best young defensive tackle in the fourth round, De’Shawn Hand.

The Lion’s defense is starting to feel like it’ll be among the best next year. The only remaining position needed to complete this defense is an inside linebacker. Fill in Devin White, the best linebacker in this year’s draft.  A few general managers made the comparison of White to Patrick Willis, and for a good reason. White had 123 total tackles in 2018, including 56 stops, which refers to positive impact plays against the run.

9. Buffalo Bills Rashan Gary, DE, Michigan

In our last mock, we had the Bills drafting D.K. Metcalf. However, the Bills added receivers John Brown and Cole Beasley in free agency, so a receiver isn’t as a big need anymore. A more significant need now for this team is a pass rusher, and Rashan Gary is the perfect prospect here for the Buffalo Bills.

Gary had a really impressive combine. He ran a 4.58 40-yard dash and tested well in every workout. Rumors are that Gary was asked a lot in his combine interviews why he had just 10.5 sacks over three seasons. Obviously, this is everyone’s question of him. Although some might see him falling out of the first round, we can’t argue with his ceiling, which is really high. If the coaches can reach his potential, he can be the best edge defender in this draft.

10. Denver Broncos Ed Oliver, DT, Houston

Before the start of the 2018 season, Ed Oliver was the consensus number one defensive tackle coming out of college. Quinnen Williams exploded onto the scene and is now regarded as the best defensive tackle. However, for some reason, Ed Oliver saw his stock fall. He had a more dominating year in 2018 than 2017, and now it’s rare he’s in the top 12 picks.

The Broncos have a need on the inside of their defensive line, and if anyone knows Vic Fangio, his defense’s are built from the inside out. Fill in Ed Oliver, the most explosive defensive lineman coming out, and Fangio has his guy.
